Ever walked past a pond and wondered what's hiding in the reeds? On 13 May, join Forest-guide Tom for a birding excursion through Polder Meerzicht, one of the oldest and most biodiverse corners of Amsterdamse Bos.
This fully English-language expedition is perfect for non-Dutch speakers and anyone who'd like to explore Amsterdam's wild side without a language barrier.
From wading birds to songbirds, Tom will help you spot, identify and log as many species as possible. Every observation counts directly towards the BioBlitz,our citizen science challenge mapping the full biodiversity of Amsterdamse Bos.
No experience needed. Just bring your curiosity, your smartphone (with ObsIdentify installed), and your love of the outdoors.
