Museumtram
Arrive in style with the Museum Tram. The Museum Tram departs from Haarlemmermeer station and takes you all the way to the Amsterdamse Bos. You can get off at the forest entrance, but also continue a few stops. It’s a fun way to travel to the Forest.
The Museum Tram service runs along the last remaining section of the former Haarlemmermeer railway line, via the Amsterdamse Bos and various wildlife gardens in Amstelveen. The current route is 7 kilometres.
Only on Sunday
From Easter Sunday to the end of October, the Museum Tram runs every Sunday (and on Easter Monday and Whit Monday) between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with services every 20 to 30 minutes. Outside regular hours, there are also themed rides such as the Sinterklaas, Christmas and Oliebollen rides and ‘Museumtram by Night’.
